The Synders point in-situ.

On May 2, 2019, my dad took me to my favorite arrowhead hunting spot. This
is located on a bend in the Mississinewa River in Indiana. I was extra excited
because we had a big flood earlier in the year. The flood washed away all
of the debris.
We had hunted the field the day before and had lots of luck, so we decided
to go back the next day. We had already found a lot of points, and then I
found a gravel ridge to search. I always have lots of luck on gravel bars,
so I was hopeful. I took a few steps and then I saw it! I yelled for my dad
to come over and see it. I think my dad was more excited than I was. I was
so excited with the best find of my life that I carried it around the rest
of the hunt.
I think the arrowhead is a Hopewell Snyders point. It is made of flintridge
chalcedony.
The next year we got permission to hunt a field across the river, and there
we stumbled across a 10-inch, full-grooved axe. That is a story for.....
