The Tenants of the Society are:

1. The Piedmont Archaeological Society of North and South Carolina is a non-profit organization organized to discover and conserve archaeological sites and material within the states of North and South Carolina, particularly to the Piedmont regions.

2. To seek and promote a better understanding students and collectors, professionals and non-professionals of archaeological material.

3. To promote the spread of archaeological knowledge through publications and meetings.
